Behind Glasshopper was a cosmopolitan work group bringing forth a brand of eyewear that blends the good taste of Italian design with prompt yet painstaking oriental manufacturing and North American superiority of marketing.

Hopping nimbly from node to node on the world eyewear network, Glasshopper has picked up decades of experience from top minds in the business: a beguiling product of genuine creativity, made with care, distributed worldwide, accessible in price.

The logo sums up the collection philosophy: a stylised grasshopper poised to invade, though only by its good taste. Comfortable characterful glasses, a far cry from your plonking industrial product: these have the unique flavour of an Italian fashion centre looking far east for excellence of manufacturing.

The Glasshopper prescription line brings you freshly original textured acetate, natty unicolour metal finishings, simple unisex taste that could only come from the new millennium. Big shapes suitable for omnifocal lenses, personalised retro dressed in contemporary colours. Metal frames range from steel to titanium; acetate are processed slab cellulose.
